This is me and my team’s thesis film and the last short film I have worked on in college.
Logline: Mila, a struggling actress with dreams of making it big, is offered a reality-altering drug: “sparkle”. Obsessed with the chance to live any desired experience, she quickly becomes dependent on its properties.
I am very passionate about psychology and human behavior and I want to push us to get a very real and raw depiction of everything that comes with addiction. I have seen people close to me take various paths when it comes to handling this issue and I want to present a perspective that will make audiences understand a narrative that doesn’t always come to light.
